Tembisa Mdoda Quits Our Perfect Wedding

Undoubtedly the show's most loved and famous host to date, fans of Mzansi Magic's wedding show, Our Perfect Wedding, are in for a shock as Tembisa Mdoda has decided to leave the show. 

Mdoda is said to be leaving the show to pursue other interests but her indelible mark on the #OPW brand will definitely leave a gaping hole on the show.

She joined the show on its 6th season in early 2016 and has since garnered herself a legion of fans and emerged as one of the biggest stars of the the PayTv platform. 

Our Perfect Wedding was previously hosted by Ayanda Mpama (season 5), Tumi Morake (season 4) Phumeza Mdabe (season 3), Brenda Ngxoli (season 2) and Thuli Thabethe (season 1). 

Tembisa Mdoda is only left with three episodes as host of the show. It's the end of a very short but memorable era. I will miss seeing her on Sunday and having debates about her fashion choices.

Mzansi Magic Sunday block will not be the same. My television viewing Sunday stokvel will not be the same. 

A presenter search competition to replace Tembisa

Wordcis that Connect TV and Mzansi Magic will host a presenter search competition to find the next host of the popular show. Sources tell me that former show hosts Tumi Morake and Brenda Ngxoli will join Tembisa as judges but that is yet to be confirmed by the channel.
