MALI MUSIC set to perform in South Africa FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY

This press release just landed in my inbox and I am freaking out right now. American singer-songwriter Kortney Jamaal Pollard, popularly known across the globe as Mali Music is set to perform in South Africa, Johannesburg for one night only, on September 21, 2017.

The Phoenix, Arizona born musical genius first came to light after the release of his first two independent albums namely, “The Coming” and “The 2econd Coming”. In 2011, he was the first inspirational artist to be part of BET’s acclaimed “Music Matters” series.

After his signing with RCA Records in 2013, Mali released the single “Beautiful” in anticipation of his first major album release titled “Mali is...”, which was launched on June 17, 2014 which earned him a Grammy nomination for Best Urban Contemporary Album. After “Mali is...” the chart topping artist has also released his latest album titled “The Transition of Mali” on June 2, 2017, which also featured the single, “Gonna be Alright” produced by Salaam Remi.

On 21 September 2017 at 7PM, Fresh Impression Africa under the direction of Harold Moyo in collaboration with Rough Diamond and The Unit will host Mali Music featuring American Rapper “Da Truth” and South African songstress, “Lilly Million” for one night only at a Johannesburg, Rhema Bible Church, Randburg.
