MALI MUSIC to miss African Tour Dates

PRESS RELEASE: The much anticipated tour of the Grammy award nominated Mali Music in Africa has unfortunately been cancelled. The singer/songwriter was expected to perform in a series of concerts in South Africa, Uganda and Kenya but had to cancel his appearances after the loss of his passport.

The ‘Beautiful” hit maker was initially scheduled to perform in Capetown on Wednesday the 20th of September, a one night special in Johannesburg followed by the Born Free concert in Uganda on the 23rd before heading to the Nairobi Chapel in Kenya on the 24th of September.

Efforts to apply for a temporary passport were unsuccessful resulting Mali not making trip, thus the cancellation of the concerts. Organizers are still in talks with the Arizona born star’s management team regarding a future performance to make up for those who have already purchased tickets.

The concert in Johannesburg will go ahead as planned with Lily Million and US Christian Hip Hop Rapper, Da TRUTH expected to hit the stage on Thursday at Rhema Bible Church at 7pm as well as perform in Kampala, Uganda on Saturday.

Those who had bought tickets will be allowed free access into the concert once the new dates with Mali Music’s management has been finalized
