United States Of Somizi special COMING SOON

MTV flagship channel MTV Base is set to broadcast a special on the effervescent Somizi Mhlongo's red-carpet gig at this year's MTV Video Music Awards. 

Mhlongo jetted off to the United States in luxury — as only he can dahling!, last week and got to mingle with some of Hollywood's biggest names. But this was a working trip as Mhlongo was roped in by MTV to be their red-carpet corresponded for Africa. 

Many wondered why we did noyt get to see Somizi's interviews during the delayed braodcast of the awards in Africa. Well, the reason is simply that Somizi's shoot has been packaged as a separate speacial for MTV Base. 

All the filming of Somizi at the VMA is being composed into a show called “United States of Somizi”. On the special we will get to see Somizi interview the likes of Love & Hip-Hop creator Mona Scott and dancer/entertainer Teyana Taylor. 

United States of Somizi will air MTV Base (DStv channel 322) on 26 September 2017 at 21:30 CAT.
