Babes Wodumo & Nasty C nominated for another international award


MTV today announced nominations for the 2017 MTV EMAs, including six top acts from the African continent.


South African artists Babes Wodumo and Nasty C, who both received a nomination from the BET Awards in the United States this year, repeated their streak with a nomination for the European part of the MTV Awards.

Also nominated are Nigerians Wizkid and Davido, who have both made an indelible mark on the international arena of music. Davido had the biggest song on the continent with "IF" and Wizkid has become Africa's biggest breakout star of our generations.

Angolan C4 Pedro  and Nyanshinski from Kenya are also nominated for the same category.
