My Kitchen Rules | A High Tea for a good cause!
This week on My Kitchen Rules SA, it’s another People’s Choice challenge – but it won’t just be ordinary members of the public determining who wins this one. Some of Johannesburg’s best-loved celebrities will be gathering to raise awareness for a good cause at an oh-so-fancy High Tea, which the contestants will be tasked to cater.
Judges David Higgs and J’Something, donning their garden party best, will reveal to the remaining five teams of home cooks that they will have to create 90 portions of savoury canapes, as well as 90 portions of sweet canapes for this special day.
While celebrities such as Edith Venter, Anele Mdoda, Jason Greer and The Voice SA finalists sit back to enjoy and sample everyone’s canapes, the contestants will be nervously awaiting the results of the day which will ultimately determine which four teams progress to the semi-finals of the competition, and which team will be packing their bags.
After last week’s dismal pasta challenge when the judges had to firmly instruct all of the teams to up their game, whose finger foods will flop, and whose will rise to the occasion as Johannesburg’s brightest social butterflies gather in support of the Pink Drive early cancer detection awareness programme?
My Kitchen Rules SA is broadcast every Sunday night on M-Net channel 101 at 18:00.
