SA’s style icon and event host, Bonang Matheba, is bringing the Grand White Dinner to Johannesburg this Saturday, 7 April, 2018, along with an all-star cast of music entertainment.

Guests in Johannesburg can look forward to be blown away by major musical acts including SA’s Platinum record recipient DJ, “the Drumboss” Heavy K, SAMA Award-winning singer Kelly Khumalo, SAMA nominated Lady Zamar, the five-piece vocal group Beyond Vocal, DJ Loyd, Disebo and SANDS.

Says Bonang: “The Cape Town event was extraordinary and I’m excited to bring the Grand White Dinner to my home town. It’s truly about togetherness, a collective consciousness and having a good time with those you love.”

The Grand White Dinner series is the brainchild of the creators of the Global HOLI ONE Colour Festivals, and celebrates its fifth anniversary this year.

“Having grown from a festival attended by 8000 guests in 2014 to 15 000 last year, we are thrilled to be bringing the event back to Johannesburg, to promote unity, freedom and friendship in the City of gold,” said Grand White CEO, Stephan Dau.
“The Grand White Dinner welcomes everyone. All we ask is that guests dress in all white with a touch of blue. The most important purpose for our event however, is to bring people together. It’s about spending an extraordinary afternoon & evening with friends and family, filled with delicious food, live entertainment, music and comedy.”

Following the Joburg event, further events in the Grand White Dinner series will take place in Pretoria (14 April) and Durban (21 April) while international cities will include Lagos, New York and Los Angeles with further plans for other US cities later this year.

Guests can bring their own picnic baskets to the Grand White Dinner, which runs from 2pm – 10pm in each city with bands, DJs and more.
